"Too Marvelous For Words: The Songs of Johnny Mercer"
Lee Lessack’s graceful lyric baritone vocals and sophisticated yet endearing persona have made him a shining star of the international concert scene. Billboard Magazine calls his singing, "Cabaret romanticism of a high order."
In celebration of the Mercer Centennial, Lee’s concert features more than 30 Mercer gems including; "That Old Black Magic," "When October Goes," "I Wanna Be Around," "I Remember You," and "Out Of This World".
Lee, who is touring extensively in the United States and Europe to sold-out performances, has released five albums including a live recording of his Mercer Tribute, which Rex Reed hailed as "Rare, Superb, and Thoroughly Enjoyable!"
His fifth and most ambitious recording to date, "In Good Company", was released in July of 2005. Intimate and impeccably co-produced by Johnny Rodgers, the album beams with outstanding performances featuring duets with music notables such as Michael Feinstein, Maureen McGovern, Amanda McBroom, Ann Hampton Callaway and Stephen Schwartz. "In Good Company" earned a MAC and Bistro Award for Best Recording of the Year.
