HAGFEST: The Comedy Tour

There are some women out there who can't live their life without the advice of their gay male friend! They wear a badge of honor, doting on their gay by embracing their inner circle of queens. A few of these women have actually gone so far as to create a one of a kind event proudly named the HagFest Comedy Tour dedicated to their love of all things gay. HagFest made its debut to a packed house at Bang Studios in West Hollywood and that is only the beginning.

Having its NYC Debut @ Stonewall AKA Gay Ground Zero, the show features diva comediennes Shawn Pelofsky (Chelsea Lately/Atlantis Cruises), Vicki Barbolak (Nick at Nite's "Funniest Mom in America") and Susannah Perlman (Last Comic Standing). Each comedienne will be performing their outlandishly hilarious brand of stand-up and reminiscing about their first "hag" experiences.

So, grab your rainbows and come out to see the fabulous, live comedy tour that everyone is chatting about. The ladies of HagFest will demand attention, monitor love lives and possibly grade abs during the show. You will drink, you will laugh...you will take them home to meet your mother. After all, you're her gay and she's the best friend you can't live without!

Shawn Pelofsky was born one out of ten Jews in Oklahoma. and that's not funny at all! Performing since the age of eight, Shawn decided to pursue a career in comedy. Since then she has traveled all over the world performing her stand-up and hosting events such as the "2006 WEHO Awards," "The Nikky Awards," "Human Rights Campaign Comedy Benefit" and LA's 2007 Gay Pride Parade. Shawn has performed alongside veterans such as Margaret Cho and has also been featured countless times on TV shows such as "Chelsea Lately" and "Comics Unleashed." "Vicki Barbolak is Mae West in a leopard mini." — Mitzi Shore, owner of the world famous Comedy Store. Two years into her career in stand-up, Mitzi Shore took Vicki under her wing. Now, 5 years later, Vicki Barbolak has won the "Russian River Comedy Competition," opened for top comedians such as Rosanne Barr, and was chosen as Nick at Night's "Funniest Mom in America." She's on a roll and you won't want to miss a thing!

Susannah Perlman AKA Goddess Perlman is a comedian/chanteuse and the ringleader of "Nice Jewish Girls Gone Bad", a variety extravaganza that has traveled the country far and wide. This past election season, Perlman produced "The Obama Girls of Comedy" a comedy tour de force that went to the battleground states to raise awareness amongst women voters. Each state the show visited went blue. Perlman has also been on the last 2 seasons of "Last Comic Standing" on NBC. In addition, she has performed on every stage known to man, has appeared in numerous festivals, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, NY Burlesque Festival, The HOWL Festival and The NY Underground Comedy Festival. She has been on WE, TLC, MTV and several other media outlets at 4 in the morning because that's when her audience is tuned in. She has a few  albums to her credit. "Beating Around the Bush" and "The Goddess Bless  America" and has won a few awards for her musical video.
