"Being a lesbian in a small town like Flemington, NJ was very hard, New Hope and its gay community saved my life. I was embraced into the fabric of the gay community at 19 years old, it was a godsend to know there were awesome caring wonderful people and they were just like me!" The Embraceable You Project focuses on New Hope, Pennsylvania as a town that embraces differences. Since the early days of being a Quaker settlement, to the days when New Hope Impressionist artists, beatniks, hippies, new-agers and LGBT visitors and inhabitants came to New Hope, the town has prevailed as an open-minded community. The Project demonstrates how New Hope exemplifies HOPE, as a reality and not as a dream or an elusive aspiration.

The Embraceable You Project is dedicated to people who embrace diversity, celebrate differences, and give new hope to all.
